Custom Orders
Custom merchandise can be defined as an order for anything not found directly in the Nissan SHIFT Gear store.. Our Account Managers are pleased to provide you with the most competitive quotes, the quickest delivery, and the most innovative ideas for custom merchandise. You can also customize the merchandise in the online store with your individual, business or organization information. Embroidery, screen-printing, engraving...we can do it all! (Minimum quantities may apply.) Special Projects
Do you have a special project, trade show or community function coming up? Perhaps you need professional outfitting for your staff that not only represents Nissan, but shows off your own individual logo? Let us know! Much of the merchandise in the online store is available to be decorated with your individual imprint. Credit Card Orders

International Orders
Nissan SHIFT Gear merchandise can be shipped to any country in our country code list. International shipments will be shipped as complete orders only, unless requested in writing (meaning that if any item is on backorder, we will delay the entire shipment until all merchandise is available). All requests for international shipments should include the recipient country, all area codes and phone numbers.

All payments for international orders must be made in U.S. dollars. All required charges for duties, tariffs, and taxes are additional and will either be collected upon delivery by the carrier, billed on your account, or follow on a separate and later invoice.

International orders are shipped via DHL or Federal Express International unless otherwise specified. Nissan SHIFT Gear will invoice your international freight charges at the carrier's published rates. All international orders are subject to a handling charge/document fee of $15 of the merchandise subtotal (minimum $50) that is in addition to actual freight charges that are determined by weight and method of shipment. International orders will be subject to duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the recipient.

If you wish to use an alternate carrier, please provide us with the company name, your account number with the carrier, a contact name, and a phone number for the carrier in the United States.

Rush service is not available for international orders. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. Customs restrictions may apply to some products. Customer will be responsible for any duty and tax charges. We cannot ship to P.O. or APO boxes.

For international orders, we accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express only. Sorry, no Purchase Orders are accepted.



Sales Tax
Some states require that we collect tax on your purchase amount. Orders shipped to the following states are subject to sales tax: CA, DC, FL, IL, IN, MD, MI, NY, SC, TN, TX, and WI. Should state tax rates or laws change, we are required to collect the tax in effect on the date of your order.



Domestic Shipping
Nissan SHIFT Gear will ship all in-stock orders within 5 business days after we receive your order. All in-stock orders are shipped from Madison Heights, Michigan. All orders must include complete shipping information.

Unless otherwise specified, your order will ship via UPS Ground service and the charges will be added to your invoice. If you request overnight or airfreight, Nissan SHIFT Gear will bill you at the carrier's published rates. Expedited and same day shipment requests must be received before 1:00 PM (EST). Airfreight services will be invoiced to you separately.

If your package is shipped via UPS or Federal Express and you provide us with your email address, you will receive an Automatic Shipment Notification (ASN) from Nissan SHIFT Gear when you order in-stock merchandise. This notification is generated within a few hours of your package shipping. This notification contains a description of your order and a link for you to be able to track your shipment.

UPS Ground Standard Freight Table: All domestic shipments will ship UPS Ground Standard service. The following freight chart will be used to determine your total shipping costs. The freight chart is based on the total of all merchandise per order. Expedited shipments are subject to be billed at the carriers actual shipping rate.

$0.00 - $50.00 = $5.95
$50.01 - $75.00 = $7.95
$75.01 - $100.00 = $9.95
$100.01 - $150.00 = $12.95
$150.01 - $200.00 = $16.95
$200.01 - $250.00 = $18.95
$250.01 - Above = 5% of order total


Drop Ships: Orders shipping directly from the manufacturer will use the most cost-effective method, unless otherwise specified. These shipping charges are pre-paid and added to your invoice. Please allow 2-6 weeks for delivery on these items. It will be noted in the product description when an item is a drop ship. Returns on drop-ship items are subject to a manufacturer's restocking fee.



Rush Orders
Please call Client Services to confirm your rush request by 1:00 PM Eastern Standard Time to ensure that your package will ship on the same day. Additional charges may apply. Orders requiring next-day or two-day air delivery can take advantage carrier discounts by providing us with your Federal Express or UPS account number. If this information is not provided, we will ship on the Nissan SHIFT Gear account and add the freight charges to your invoice.



Product Availability
All items pictured in the online store are subject to availability at the time of your order. If your selected merchandise is not available, a Client Services Representative will notify you and offer substitutions whenever possible.

Some merchandise may be available "While Supplies Last", meaning once our current stock is sold out, we will not be selling that product any longer. This will be noted in the product description.

Drop Ships: Orders shipping directly from the manufacturer will use the most cost-effective shipping method, unless otherwise specified. Please allow 2-6 weeks for delivery on these items. It will be noted in the product description when an item is a drop ship.



Order Acknowledgement
Online shoppers will receive an email acknowledgement from Nissan SHIFT Gear immediately after order is placed. This email acknowledgement does not include sales tax. Applicable sales tax will be calculated at the time of order processing and will be reflected on your second order confirmation detailing your sales order number and item availability.

All online orders should receive a second order acknowledgement from Nissan SHIFT Gear either by fax, phone or email within 2 business days. If you do not receive this acknowledgement, please contact Client Services.



Lead Time
In-stock merchandise normally ships within 5 business days of your order being received. Please allow applicable time for delivery based on ship method from Madison Heights, Michigan. Non-stock catalog items normally ship within 2-6 weeks. Shipping times vary by item.



Returns and Exchanges
Nissan SHIFT Gear wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you do need to arrange a return, please contact Client Services within 30 days of receipt of your order for a "return authorization" number. We can accommodate exchanges and returns; however, shipping and handling charges are not refundable and you will be responsible for all costs associated with the return shipment.

The "return authorization" number should be written on the outside of the box to ensure proper and timely processing. Returns should be shipped UPS insured in order to trace your package. We cannot be responsible for lost returns. Please include complete instructions for exchange, replacement or credit inside the box.

Returns on drop ship items are subject to a manufacturer restocking fee. Fee amount varies by manufacturer. Contact customer service for details.

**Please do not return merchandise without contacting customer service first for a Return Authorization number.**

ALL SALES ARE FINAL ON CLEARANCE MERCHANDISE. Please contact customer service if you have questions regarding this policy.





Browser Cookies
Like many online commerce sites, the Nissan SHIFT Gear Store uses cookies to provide a personalized shopping experience. Most browsers (including Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 2.0 and later) support cookies. You may not be able to shop online if you are using an older browser or if your browser is configured to not accept cookies.



SSL
Since online commerce sites deal with sensitive data, Nissan SHIFT Gear encrypts all transmissions containing personal data using 128-bit Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. You may not be able to shop online if your browser does not support SSL or you are accessing the Internet from behind a firewall that prohibits SSL transactions.



Where Your Order Goes
When you submit an order, it is transmitted securely to Evigna Brand Insight in an encrypted message. For further information on contacting Evigna Brand Insight in Madison Heights, MI, please refer to your contact list.



Browser Compatability
The Nissan SHIFT Gear store was designed to be as inclusive as possible and takes advantage of key industry standards including W3C Compliance and Accessability Standards. To accomplish this, some browsers may not work with the Nissan SHIFT Gear store.

Prefered compatable browsers include:
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6+, Firefox 1.0.6+, Opera 8+ and Safari 1.3+



Secure Transactions
By "secure," we mean that the Online Store uses the SSL protocol. Our web servers are capable of delivering 128-bit encryption. However, your browser ultimately determines the exact level of encryption, not by the server. For example, if your browser is capable of communicating using 128 bits, the server will use 128-bit encryption. If your browser is only able to communicate using 40-bit encryption, then the server will use 40-bit encryption.



Navigation Help
Product Search Function

This function is found on the left side of every page and is part of the main shopping cart navigation. Make your selection from the list by clicking on the actual category name. Selecting "All Products" will display the first 500 items in the database matching your query.

Selecting any other category will display all items that are assigned to that category. If there are many items in a given category, they will be displayed on multiple pages. By scrolling to the top or bottom of any page, you will see additional navigation options that will allow you to jump to any of the related pages for that particular search.

Click on any item image or any displayed product text link to view a larger image and details of a given product.


Keyword Search Function

The Keyword Search, also located to the left, allows you to search for an item by entering a keyword or, if you know it, a stock number. You do not have to know the exact product name. All data fields for a given product will be searched, so you may want or need to refine your keywords.

For example: By entering the word "cap", a variety of products could be displayed, such as "Baseball caps", "Rollerball pen with cap", "Vampire capes", etc. So if you were really looking for a hat, you may want to try entering the word "hat", or "derby", or "cowboy hat" to be more specific.

If you do know the complete or partial stock number of an item, simply type it in the search box and press your enter key. Your item will be displayed.
